Chatterbox Speech Therapy

Hello! My name is Mary Krug (pronounced Kroog), and I am happy that you are here! I am the owner of Chatterbox Speech Therapy in Crockett, TX and have been a practicing speech-language pathologist for 20 years. Most of my experience is as a school-based speech-language pathologist, but I have also worked with many amazing adult patients in several skilled nursing facilities. I am Texas state-licensed and maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). I grew up in Crockett, TX, and I currently reside in Lovelady, TX. I graduated from Crockett High School, then I received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Stephen F. Austin State University. Appointments can be made by clicking the "Request Appointment" button and selecting an available date and time. Physician referrals are required by some insurance companies. PAYMENT AND INSURANCE: I am currently an in-network provider for Amerigroup Medicaid, BCBS, Aetna, Humana, Texas Children's Health Plan, and Multiplan. I will also work with other insurance plans, including Superior Medicaid and United Healthcare. I also accept private pay/cash. **Please note that speech and language therapy may not be covered benefits or may have exclusions resulting in insurance denials even when they are covered benefits. I recommend that you contact your insurance company to understand your insurance benefits.** If I am out of network with your insurance company, you are expected to pay in full at the time of service. I will provide you with appropriate documentation to support your request for reimbursement from your insurance company. You are responsible for contacting your insurance company and completing and submitting the required forms.
